Why Use Dumbbells?

Dumbbells are excellent for free weight exercises and for building strength and mass. Unlike machines, dumbbells force you to use more muscles in your body in order to balance the weight. The more muscles you have working at once, the more calories you burn and the faster you build fresh, stronger muscle.

Dumbbell shrugs for traps

Dumbbell shrugs are my favorite trap exercise. I know this is a really simple exercise and it seems silly to make a video showing how to do it but I have gotten many requests for it. This is an easy exercise to do at home, all you need is a set of used dumbbells.

Here is the way I suggest doing the dumbbell shrug.
1) Grab the dumbbells with your palms facing in
2) let the weights hang at your side
3) keep your arms straight, dont bend the elbow
4) put your shoulders back, try to squeeze your shoulder blades together
5) go up and down slowly, as far up and far down as you can
6) dont roll the shoulders!!!!

Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn’t have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money. A cheap dumbbell set from a garage sale or walmart is all it takes to get started with your home workouts.

Sexy Model Demonstrates How To Do Side Lateral Raises

Side Lateral Raises are an ever-popular, single-joint dumbbell movement which  isolates the outer head of the deltoid.  The best way to learn the exercise is to start very light with a pair of chrome dumbbells (or those little blue ones work well) hanging by your side, slightly to the rear of your body, palms facing inward. With arms rigid, raise them outwardly to a position slightly above parallel or just above your shoulders, palms remaining down. Repeat the movement for a set of ten repetitions and notice how cleverly we modify the action to reach our goal as we fatigue, a teeny lean forward, an imperceptible bending and shortening of the arms, a mini-thrust and a crossing of the eyes. Fact is, youre on your way to the perfect side arm lateral raise to give your delts the cannonball look of your dreams.
